Eight men and eight women choose their partners and face their first two challenges, including a visit to the library where the ladies try to find books using the Dewey decimal system; and social tasks for the guys, such as asking a stranger to put suntan lotion on their backs. Also: One pair is eliminated.

The geeks have to do stand up comedy as their test. It isn't as easy as it looks. The beauties are supposed to interview an author but only one of the girls is prepared. In the end, one team is sent home.

The guys sketch a nude model while the ladies act as tour guides at the California Science Center, where they must demonstrate their knowledge of space travel and planes. Later, one pair is eliminated.

At a live clarity auction (ran by the beauties), The Geeks are offered up as bids. One team is eliminated at the end of the episode.

The teams travel to San Diego's Mission Beach, where the women learn about radio waves and electronics while the men create fitness routines. Also: a trip aboard a yacht; and a team elimination.

The four remaining teams each get a dog; the geeks must get women's phone numbers at a dog park.

The three (final) teams have to start working on a Farm with Animals. Two teams will have to face elimination, but only one will go, the remaining two will be decided.

In the shocking thrid season finale, unexpected visitors threaten to jeopardize the status of the competition. Meanwhile, as the final two teams prepare for the final showdown, they reveal sides of each other that they've never shown before, and one teammate makes a decision that turns the competition upside down and leaves everyone in shock.

The beauties and the geeks meet again for the last time and some memorable moments are revisited.
